Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Events Manager to oversee the planning and execution of various events, while also managing our event space for large-scale party rentals and/or company events. This role will involve leading a team of talented event staff, including servers, kitchen staff, and other hospitality professionals, to ensure seamless execution and exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in events management, guest services, and event marketing, with experience in managing large events, particularly in food and beverage, such as wedding receptions and corporate gatherings.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and execute events from conception through to completion, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional service.
  • Coordinate all logistical aspects including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and transportation for both internal and external events.
  • Manage event budgets and ensure all financial aspects are in line with expectations, including cost control measures and revenue generation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality events that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Develop and implement event marketing strategies to drive attendance and engagement, including digital marketing campaigns, social media promotions, and targeted outreach efforts.
  • Provide excellent customer service to event attendees and stakeholders, ensuring all needs are met and issues are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee fundraising efforts during events, working closely with development teams and external partners to maximize fundraising potential.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and contracts, including health and safety standards, legal requirements, and venue agreements.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in event planning and management, with a strong track record of successful events from conception to completion.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and team members at all levels.
  • Familiarity with event marketing techniques, including digital marketing, social media promotions, and targeted outreach efforts.
  • Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is a plus, particularly in managing large events and coordinating with food and beverage service teams.
